Current Exhibition:

"1201" Solo Exhibit by L.A. "Zero" Mejias

For the first time in his promising artistic career, L.A. "Zero" Mejias is featuring a curated selection of his works in a solo exhibition at Open Space Arts. "1201" is an ode to the classroom at Garfield High School where L.A. found himself, and where his journey of self expression officially began.

Drawing heavy inspiration from Basquiat's hurried, improvisational style, L.A.'s work explores themes of self discovery, perseverance, and aspirations.

CURRENT EXHIBIT

"1201"

Run Time - Oct 2, 2024 – October 27, 2024

L.A. Mejias, a product of Prince William County Public Schools and a participant in the April 2022 Emerging Artists Exhibit at Open Space Arts, presented by Prince William Arts Council has displayed the passion that Michelangelo spoke to when he said, “A man paints with his brains and not with his hands.”

With a meticulously crafted ensemble of works that explore social commentary and individuality using bold colors strong words and evoking deep emotion from viewers, L.A. “Zero” Mejias believes that we can be rewired through our own thoughts.

Visit us during this this unique exhibition to get a chance to view and purchase his early works while they are still affordable.
