This inclusive approach is evident in initiatives like the OSA Cabaret and OSA Fashion programs, which provide platforms for diverse artistic expressions and bring together individuals from various disciplines to create cohesive, multidisciplinary performances.

The Power of The Name:

The name Edutainment Productions Inc. at Open Space Arts (OSA) encapsulates a visionary mission: to transform the cultural and creative landscape of Northern Virginia by fusing education with entertainment—and unlocking access to creative spaces that empower artists and uplift communities.

Edutainment (EPI)

A blend of “education” and “entertainment,” reflects the organization’s commitment to making learning dynamic, meaningful, and creatively immersive. This philosophy not only opens the door for artistic expression but also ensures that the arts are seen as viable career paths and tools for community building.

Symbolizes both a literal and symbolic promise: to open unused, overlooked, or underutilized spaces—especially empty storefronts—and transform them into thriving creative environments. These open spaces serve as incubators for collaboration, mentorship, public engagement, and artistic risk-taking. At OSA, a vacant space is never “empty”—it’s full of possibility.

Education is not an afterthought—it’s the soul of Edutainment at OSA. Through community partnerships, credential-building workshops, and creative workforce development programs, we prepare artists and young people to not only dream, but also do. We train the next generation in real-world skills while feeding their creative spirits.

Our Mission

To enrich Northern Virginia's quality of life by improving awareness of local artists in Performance, Applied, Visual, Culinary, and Literary Arts making available to them the space and tools to go further in their creativity, while bringing attention to the civic and corporate influences that can be gained from this reality. Open Space Arts venue will cater to artists in the social, educational, and professional realm, as well as serving a broad and diverse audience through its programming and outreach efforts.

Our work is to ensure that artists excel, while reaching into the community to develop new audiences for the arts, building program viability and growth to ultimately gain a larger corporate interest for Northern Virginia.
