This initiative creates a strategic bridge between local college students seeking real-world experience and arts organizations in need of creative marketing talent. Through this program, students will gain hands-on training, portfolio development, and networking opportunities, while Edutainment Productions Inc. serves as a conduit for talent recruitment and creative employment within the regional arts sector.

Professional Mentorship

Students will collaborate with a Marketing & Communications Director with expertise in graphic design, digital marketing, PR, and video editing.

Weekly one-on-one check-ins and professional development on all projects and work sessions.
Real-World Experience

Students will assist in designing branding, marketing materials, social media campaigns, video content, and PR strategies for participating arts organizations.

Develop advertising templates for project workshops, social media content, and e-newsletters for stakeholders.

Create project reports, infographics, and digital storytelling materials to amplify impact.

Support event marketing efforts by assisting with digital and print promotions.
Creative Workforce Development

Pipeline to Employment: Participating arts organizations will have the first opportunity to hire students.

Network with Industry Leaders: Students will engage with artists, nonprofit leaders, and marketing professionals in arts and community development fields.

EDUTAINMENT PRODUCTION'S ROLE
Arts organizations in Northern VA and beyond will have access to a talent pool of student creatives pre-trained in arts marketing and communications.
To guide this initiative, we seek marketing and communications students looking to grow in fields such as:

Graphic Design (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)

Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy

Video Editing & Content Creation

Public Relations & Brand Messaging

Email Marketing
DURING THE PROGRAM,
Edutainment's professional staff will:

Serve as the lead mentor for student creatives.

Oversee branding, storytelling, and promotional strategies.

Design advertising templates for project workshops, social media, and digital outreach.
-
Create impact reports, video content, and infographics for public engagement.
-
Support organizational fundraising & friend-raising efforts through compelling marketing campaigns.
Contract Period: March 2025 – March 2027
Compensation: Grant-funded contract opportunity
